Beautiful roseville vase in mint condition; roughly 8. 25 inches tall. This is a beautiful 5. 5 inch tall moorcroft vase signed with the wm (william moorcroft) initals in blue on the bottom. Roseville Blue Wisteria vase standing 8 1/2" tall. The wisteria pattern in blue is probably the most sought-after Roseville of the middle period, early 1930's. This "soda-glass" example is particularly desirable and has lots of the deep Roseville blue throughout except for an 1/8" glaze skip along the base rim, not an uncommon problem at the Roseville factory. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Wonderful 1930's Roseville pottery pillow vase in the green Pine Cone pattern. Impressed mark: Roseville 845-8". This handsome Falline, Roseville vase has an unusual satin matter glaze. It is cast in light relief with a seed pod encircling the circumference. This is done on a terra cotta background that darkens to brown at the base. This line of Roseville has become a favorite among collectors and is becoming more and more difficult to find. This vase is in mint condition with no cracks, chips hairlines or damage of any kind and no repairs.
The bottom shows the full gold paper label with the name Roseville Pottery and RV embossed on it. Roseville Pottery started in Roseville, Ohio in 1892. By 1898 pottery was also made in Zanesvile, Ohio and by 1917 all of its operations were located there.
